The purpose of the club

The Swedish Hudson Club is a non-profit association of people with an interest in vehicles related to the Hudson Motor Car Company. The club's aim is to encourage the preservation of the vehicles in their original condition, arrange gatherings, publish a member magazine, and create greater understanding of the cultural side of the vehicle hobby.

The club started as a section within the Motor History Society in 1971. After a sleepy existence at the end of the 70s, the section was restarted in 1983 and has been in full swing ever since. In 1993 we felt mature enough to stand on our own two feet and formed the Swedish Hudson Club.

Business

In May we have a spring meeting in the Hallstavik area, and in August a summer meeting combined with an annual meeting. Pictures from some previous meetings can be found under Meetings in the menu.

Our member magazine, the Hudson newspaper, is published once a year. There you can read about the events we have carried out, get renovation tips, see old original photos, and enjoy various Hudson-related reports. In addition, there will be a couple of smaller mailings with annual meeting information and advertisements.

Membership

The annual fee (for Nordic members) is SEK 250. The fee is paid to PlusGirokonto 891113-3. The board and other officials work entirely on a voluntary basis, and the fees are used exclusively for the activities described above.
